Warranty Info : Speakers - Amplifiers



Limited Speaker Warranty Policy:

All MegaLoud subwoofer and speakers are carefully constructed and thoroughly tested before shipment. Speakers purchased in the U.S.A. can be warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period 90 days if purchased from an authorized dealer or one year if installed by a authorized dealer with proof of purchase. This warranty is limited to the original retail purchaser of the speaker. Your dated sales slip is your positive proof of purchase and will establish your eligibility for the warranty. This offer allows one replacement warranty per woofer. Speakers found to be in warranty will be repaired without charge, otherwise a repair fee may apply. Any speaker damaged as a result of misuse, abuse, freight damage, neglect, improper installation, weather damage, insect damage, accident or alteration (including further manufacture) is not covered under this warranty. Also, warranty is void for speakers received with bent frames, water damage, holes in cone, rips in spider, holes or tears in surround, broken terminals, burnt voice coils or charred leads and other signs of excessive power or other signs of obvious cosmetic damage or abuse caused by improper usage. If a determination is made that the product has been abused or is out of the warranty period, a fee will apply for the repair. All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose, are limited in duration to the length of this warranty. Stealth Audio expressly disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages caused by product defects. This warranty does not cover any expense incurred in the removal and reinstallation of the speaker or shipping and handling charges. Stealth Audio’s total liability will not exceed the purchase price of the speaker and will not exceed the warranty period specified. This warranty will be voided if the serial number or date code have been removed, tampered with, or defaced.

What to do if You Need Warranty or Service

1. E-Mail or Call MegaLoud service line at 1-781-447-1170 and request a "RA" number.
2. Package your MegaLoud product in a properly padded box for shipping.
3. Write in marker, the "RA#" on the sides of the box and on your reciept.
4. Include a copy of your reciept in the box with the RA# written on it that was provided. Do not send original copy, MegaLoud is not responsible for products lost during shipping.
5. Describe what is wrong with your MegaLoud product on your reciept or on a separate peice of paper if no reciept is available.
6. Include a description of your stereo system so MegaLoud may further assist you.



Limited Amplifier Warranty Policy:

MegaLoud Electronics Limited Warranty

MegaLoud warrants to the original purchaser, Electronic products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days from the original purchase date with valid dated sales receipt. Electronics purchased And Installed by Authorized MegaLoud Dealers are warranted for Two (2) Years from the original purchase date with valid dated sales receipt. Sales receipt must clearly show Authorized Dealers name, address, product, and date of purchase. Products found to be defective due to manufacturing defect or malfunction will be repaired or replaced with equivalent merchandise at no charge (excluding shipping charges) during the warranty period. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not extended to subsequent owners, and only for products purchased at an authorized MegaLoud dealer in the USA. Products purchased by consumers from MegaLoud dealers in another country are covered only by that country's distributor and not by MegaLoud USA.

What is Not Covered Warranty is in effect for the period after date of original purchase by consumer. No person is authorized by MegaLoud to assume any other liability in connection with the sale of this product. This warranty DOES NOT COVER the Following:

1. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, water, theft, broken or missing terminals.
2. Damage due to improper installation
3. Subsequent damage to other components or vehicle
4. Any product showing signs of tampering, or service performed by anyone other than MegaLoud Service Center.
5. Any product in which the serial number is removed, altered, defaced, or modified
6. Any cost or expense for the removal and reinstallation
7. The cost of shipping to and from a MegaLoud Service Center, or freight damage
8. Items previously modified or repaired by anyone other than MegaLoud
9. Speakers damaged due to amplifier clipping or distortion
10. Products returned w/o an RA number
